I am Julie, the photographer behind De Små Øjeblikke, and maternity photography is one of my greatest passions. As a mother and with a background in pedagogy, I understand how fragile and simultaneously powerful it is to carry new life. For that reason I work intentionally to create a calm, safe and present environment so you can be completely yourself in front of the camera. My focus is on natural photography at eye level — images that show the emotions, the connection and the gentle strength of pregnancy. Why choose me for your maternity photography? I specialize in capturing the quiet moments and the small details that make your anticipation uniquely yours. I prioritise atmosphere over stiff poses: through playful interaction, soft guidance and conversation we find the moments where smiles and closeness come naturally. Many families prefer a session at home in familiar surroundings, where we can take breaks as needed — others enjoy the outdoors or a favourite local spot in Slagelse and West Zealand. I’m happy to offer ideas for locations, outfit choices and styling, and I can provide maternity dresses to borrow if you wish. How I work: before the session I’ll have an informal chat with you to hear your wishes and find what feels right. On the day I set a relaxed pace and create a cosy atmosphere so your attention can stay on the relationship and the feelings you want to preserve. I guide you into natural movements and little games that often bring out genuine smiles — exactly as in my broader photographic style: play, warmth and presence. Partners and any siblings are of course more than welcome to join. I’m based in Slagelse and know many beautiful locations in the area, but I always value the security that comes from being photographed at home.
