As a maternity photographer in Sønderborg, my focus is on creating beautiful, calm and natural images of you and your growing belly. My name is Sabrina Albæk, I live in Sønderborg and have been photographing since 2012. My background as an early childhood educator and my life as a mother of four mean I work patiently and with care around expectant parents and families — always respecting the pace you need. I specialize in maternity photography (maternity photography, pregnancy photography). In my work I prioritise natural moments and genuine presence over stiff posing. That means I use a gentle, conversational approach so you feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera. Many choose sessions in my small home studio, but I also offer photos in your own home or outdoors — depending on what best suits your comfort and the mood you want. During a maternity session I always take your needs into account: we allow plenty of time for breaks, you can nurse or rest, and I ensure a calm atmosphere so both you and any children feel comfortable. I offer guidance on clothing and styling, and there is the option to borrow a maternity gown if needed so the images achieve the look you want. My working method is simple: first we talk about your wishes and ideas, then we plan the location and mood. On the day my aim is for you to experience the session as comfortable and present — that is where the real emotions happen, and those are the moments I want to capture. Afterwards I carefully sort and edit the images and deliver them in high quality via an online gallery.
