My name is Sofie Blakø Rasmussen and I specialise in maternity photography with the experience itself as the focus. As a photographer based in Kolding, I create natural, timeless and atmospheric images that capture your pregnancy with calm, presence and beautiful daylight. My approach is personal and gentle — I guide you softly through posing, clothing choices and mood so the images feel like you. Why choose me for your maternity photography? I work exclusively with natural light and have designed my studio around a large window that provides a soft, flattering light all year round. The studio is arranged to feel homely and safe — it should be a pause from your everyday life where you can enjoy the moment. If you prefer outdoor sessions, these are usually scheduled about an hour before sunset to capture the most beautiful light. My process is simple and caring: from the first contact we discuss your wishes, location and styling, and 14 days before your session you’ll receive a welcome folder and outfit guide so you feel prepared. The studio includes a client wardrobe with maternity dresses and knits in harmonious colours that ensure timeless images — I steam and prepare everything, so you only need to arrive and relax. During the shoot the pace is calm. I focus on genuine moments, movement and small details that reveal the emotions of anticipation. Partners and older siblings are welcome, and I make sure everyone feels safe and included. After the session I deliver an online gallery where you choose your favourites — I’m happy to help select the images that best tell your story. As a local photographer in Kolding, I accept a limited number of maternity bookings each month so I can give full attention to each client. Book well in advance (I recommend 3–4 months before your due date) so we can secure the best date and light together.
