As a specialist in maternity photography based in Esbjerg, I focus on creating images that are felt as much as they are seen. My approach is built on natural light, calm and presence — I aim to capture the unique atmosphere of the waiting time so you receive photographs that tell your story. I primarily shoot using daylight and choose locations where light and surroundings emphasise you and your bump: this can be in your own home, out in nature, or in my cosy, small studio at Frodesgade 147 in Esbjerg. The goal is always authentic, relaxed images — not staged posing, but moments and gentle guidance so you feel comfortable and look like yourselves. My experience as both a trained photographer and a mother means I understand the practical and sensitive aspects of a maternity session. I work slowly and patiently, allow time for breaks, and ensure a safe, reassuring atmosphere where conversation and small tasks help bring out natural smiles and moments. The style is warm, grounded and varied — from close-up portraits of the bump and a hand resting on it to softer, more environmental images that highlight your relationship. Our collaboration begins with a short conversation about your wishes and the chosen location so I can adapt the light and mood to suit you. During the session I offer gentle direction on poses and movement so the experience feels simple and pleasant. Afterwards you will receive access to a private online gallery where you can select your favourites. I specialise in maternity photography and concentrate on delivering memories you will return to again and again. In addition to maternity shoots, I offer family and newborn photography and accept select bookings for weddings and pet photography, but my core expertise and passion lie in capturing the unique period around pregnancy.
