As a specialist in maternity photography in Aarhus, I’m Martin Guld from aarsbilleder and my clear goal is to create images that preserve the special time of your pregnancy. With more than 20 years of experience and many years focused on pregnant portraits, I know how to build a calm and safe atmosphere so you can relax and let the moment’s natural expression show. My approach is simple and human. I work quietly and attentively — not with large props or staged poses — but with light, composition and gentle guidance that highlight the shape of the bump and the intimacy that comes with pregnancy. Sessions take place in my studio in Åbyhøj, where there is space and tranquillity to find the expressions and setups that feel right for you. Many clients choose a mix of full-length, half-length and intimate close-ups of the belly; others want photos with a partner or siblings — I always tailor the session to your wishes. How I work with you: I prioritise trust and dialogue. Before the shoot we talk about your wishes and any inspiration images. On the day I ensure a relaxed atmosphere, gently guide natural poses and capture moments with warmth and authenticity. After the session we review the images together on a large screen so you can choose the photos that truly matter to you. What drives me as a photographer is capturing the particular moment — the small details that later evoke emotions and memories. As a local photographer I have photographed many expectant parents over the years and understand what it takes to make the images feel both beautiful and genuine.
