As a specialised maternity photographer in Vanløse with a cosy studio in Rødovre, I’m Gitta Friis and I am passionate about preserving the special time before your little one arrives. Since 2014 I have worked closely with expectant couples and families to create images that celebrate the bump and the deeper connection between you — gently, respectfully and without stress. My focus is on maternity photography and pregnancy photography: I prioritise calm during the session, natural light and a warm atmosphere so you can relax and be yourselves. I work both in my inviting studio in Rødovre and at selected outdoor locations, depending on what you dream of. Many couples appreciate a mix of intimate studio portraits and soft outdoor images where the surroundings help tell your story. My approach is personal and attentive; I gently guide you into natural poses, offer styling ideas and ensure breaks so you feel comfortable. I’m used to working with children and partners, so the whole family can be part of the preparations and the photoshoot. I work in both colour and black & white to bring out the best expressions — from calm, classic portraits to more intimate, documentary moments.
