As a specialist in maternity photography, I create images that celebrate the unique time before your child arrives. I’m Gitte Grøning from Gitte G Photography in Helsingør, and my approach is gentle, natural and deeply personal — always focused on atmosphere, emotions and the small details that make your story one of a kind. Before the session we’ll have a relaxed conversation about preferred colours, expressions and locations. Many families choose my cosy studio in Helsingør, where there is room for warmth, blankets and calm breaks; others prefer outdoor locations by the beach or in the woods. Throughout the process I foster a light, playful atmosphere so you feel comfortable — I guide gently while also allowing natural moments to unfold. My work is rooted in respect and collaboration. I value the real connection between you as a couple and the expectant belly, and I welcome partners and siblings to take part so the images feel authentic and alive. There is always time for pauses, care and small impulses; the best photos often appear in those unexpected, quiet moments. My handling of light, composition and timing is simple and understated — I aim to highlight the warmth, calm and beauty of pregnancy without making it feel staged. Since founding the business in 2011 I’ve welcomed many couples into the studio, and it brings me great joy to create images that families return to and treasure as their children grow.
