I’m Pernille from WIphotography. As a specialist in maternity photography I focus on preserving this very special time in your life. My approach is calm, natural and documentary — I don’t rely on staged poses but look for the genuine moments between you: the shape of the baby bump, small touches, looks full of expectation and the quiet pauses that make time feel still. Why choose me? My background in supporting parents during pregnancy and postpartum gives me an extra layer of understanding for the experience of pregnancy. I currently work on the maternity ward at Hvidovre Hospital, I am a trained doula and lactation consultant, and I am training to become a midwife — all of which make me confident, respectful and attentive around pregnant people and newborns. As your pregnancy photographer I create an atmosphere where you feel seen, safe and free to be yourselves, which always makes for stronger maternity photos and family images. How do I work with you? Before the shoot we have a conversation by phone or in person so I understand your wishes: would you like intimate images at home in your own surroundings, natural photos on a location in the Copenhagen area, or something in between? On the day my aim is to be discreet and present; I’ll gently guide when needed but mostly remain a fly on the wall, capturing spontaneous moments. I prioritise comfort and safety, so there’s always room for breaks, breastfeeding or simply time to relax. My goal is to deliver images that function both as everyday keepsakes and as powerful visual stories of the moment in your life.
