My name is Pia Tromborg, and as a specialized maternity photographer I work with one clear ambition: to preserve this special time in your life with images that are both beautiful and personal. With my own studio in Gentofte, close to Copenhagen — and based around Charlottenlund — I create a calm, secure environment where you can be yourself and allow moments to unfold naturally. My approach to maternity photography is both aesthetic and human. I use thoughtful angles and varied lighting to emphasize what is unique about each woman's body and expression. The images are more than documentation of a bump; they are portraits of a feeling: anticipation, strength and beauty. I favour a subtle, elegant style so the photos remain intimate and timeless. When I meet clients I prioritise calm, open dialogue and a sense of safety. Many clients want natural pregnancy images, and I guide you through choices of clothing, poses and atmosphere so you feel relaxed. You are welcome to bring your partner or a close friend to the session — this can provide both support and lovely shared images. After the session we review the photographs together and select the pictures that best tell your story. My background as a trained photographer (qualified 1987) and decades of experience mean I combine technical skill with a strong eye for composition and emotion. The result is work with depth and authenticity — photographs you will be proud to hang at home or give as a meaningful gift.
